I’m an experienced acting coach, director, and writer with over 20 years of work in the arts and education industries—including 12 years teaching at The BRIT School. During my time there, I’ve supported students through every stage of their acting journey, helping them build confidence, strengthen their skills, refine their technique, and discover their own unique creative voice.
I’ve spent more than two decades creating theatre and arts experiences in a wide range of settings, giving me a practice that is resilient, adaptable, inclusive, and grounded in patience. My foundation in inclusive theatre began at Chickenshed, where I trained and worked professionally as a performer and facilitator for 13 years. Their approach to creativity and community continues to shape and inspire the way I teach today.
I trained in musical theatre at GSA and in acting at ALRA, and have worked professionally as an actor. Alongside this, I am the scriptwriter for BRIT Kids and have written, directed, and produced my own work in professional theatres.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with a variety of theatres, arts organisations, and education settings, including Chickenshed Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, Primary Shakespeare Company, Half Moon Theatre, Wycombe Swan Theatre, and The BRIT School.
For the past 10 years, I’ve been dedicated to acting coaching, drawing on the full breadth of my experience of performing, directing, writing, and inclusive facilitation to support each student as an individual. I’m committed to recognising the unique strengths, needs, and creative potential of every performer I work with.
By combining solid technical training with a warm, confidence building environment, I tailor each session to help students grow not only as actors, but as expressive, self-assured individuals. My aim is to create a space where every student feels supported, inspired, and empowered to explore what they can achieve.
I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of theatre, especially for young people and I’m passionate about using all of my skills and experience to guide, nurture, and develop emerging talent.
